CFE, State, and City Submit Briefs; Panel to Hear Closing Arguments from Parties on November 1

On Friday, October 29, CFE, the State of New York, and the City of New York submitted their briefs to the panel of special masters appointed by State Supreme Court Justice Leland DeGrasse to deal with the State's non-compliance in the CFE school funding case.

On Monday, November 1 at 9:00 A.M., attorneys for CFE, the State of New York, and the City of New York will present their closing arguments before the panel of referees. The hearing culminates an intensive, two-month long series of proceedings convened by the panel to help the referees craft recommendations for reforming New York State's unconstitutional school funding system.
