One New York: Fighting for Fairness Coaltion Rally in Albany

12 Noon March and Rally on the West Lawn by the Capitol

The state legislature will return to Albany on November 18th for a special session to cut $2.5 billion from this year's budget. Budget cuts to key services in the middle of the year will be dangerous for families everywhere. Tough times call for tough choices. We believe this is the very moment that government needs to step up and support the most vulnerable New Yorkers.

Our State Representatives must:

  • Protect our communities by opposing mid-year budget cuts; and

  • Support an income tax increase for the wealthiest New Yorkers to fund the urgent needs of our families.

Join us in Albany on November 18th from 10am-3pm for a rally against the cuts, meetings with legislators and more. Activities will be outdoors and indoors so dress accordingly. Lunch will be provided.

Buses depart from New York City at 7am on November 18th and will leave from Albany by 3:30pm. The event is free but space is limited.

To reserve a spot on a bus call 718-222-1089 ext. 276 or send an email to:
